Mission

"We curate extended art projects that quietly inhabit real places, creating a lasting relationship between artists, spaces and everyday life".

Philosophy

Arts in Habit is built on the idea that space is never neutral.

When art enters a place for an extended period of time, the space shifts from being a backdrop to becoming an experience.

Art does not compete with the primary function of the space - dining, shopping, living - but quietly adds another layer of meaning.

Projects unfold over extended cycles of two to four months, allowing artworks to be encountered repeatedly and informally.

Rather than a single moment of attention, Arts in Habit proposes a slow and cumulative relationship with art: one that grows through everyday presence.

The aim is not to turn spaces into galleries, but to let art inhabit them naturally.

Founders

Claudia Scotellaro

After earning a degree in Economics and Innovation and spending the first fifteen years of my career in Corporate Finance,

I moved to Australia.
Going to the other side of the world also meant going to the other side of myself.
While continuing to develop entrepreneurial projects in Australia and Italy, I turned my attention toward my passions:

philosophy, art and psychoanalysis.

Discovering I was multipotential came with a brief phase of despair!
The realisation that I could neither eliminate nor silence my many interests forced a different solution: I stopped trying to reduce them, and began organising them instead.
My agenda is now colour-coded by projects, with meditation and yoga intentionally scheduled in between.

Each one is driven by a genuine passion rather than a predefined role...

Art, in all its forms, plays a central role in my life and work, as part of an ongoing search for Beauty: not as ornament, but as something we deeply need to nourish the soul.

A.A.A.C.

As a boy, I suffered from a certain form of eclecticism.
Music, painting, theatre, cinema, architecture, sculpture, comics and writing occupied my days, and often my nights, sometimes disturbing my sleep, and occasionally that of the neighbours.

This early obsession with images, forms and stories stayed with me over time, together with a recurring question about the reproducibility of artworks and their place in contemporary life.

At some point, Advertising broke into my life. I discovered it as a form of Applied Art At Communication: a modern muse capable of holding together different languages, disciplines and expressive needs.

Since then, my path has moved between artistic research, curatorial practice and communication, allowing me to work across contexts where ideas need to travel, adapt and resonate.

My work sits at the intersection of art, curatorship and storytelling, acting as a bridge between artists, concepts and the spaces that host them.
